Founder of Sentinel and Head of Behaviour in a specialist education setting. My work focuses on self-awareness, behavioural alignment, and how people respond under pressure.
I believe that behaviour under pressure is the truest reflection of who we are. Not what we say, not what we intend, but what we do when it matters most. That's what Sentinel is built around.
Head of Behaviour in a specialist education setting. Taught, at both primary and secondary age and delivered training and CPD within education for many years, working with teachers, leadership teams, and support staff to improve behaviour management and emotional regulation.
As an ambassador for Mentality, a mental health charity, I help run events, support charity fundraisers and deliver talks on behaviour and mindset. It's a natural extension of my work at Sentinel, using practical insight into patterns and personal responsibility to positively influence mental health in real-world settings.
My work has also extended into sport, including behaviour coaching for a youth rugby team and part of a coaching team for a Team GB martial artist at the European Championships. These were focused performance applications of the same behavioural principles that shape Sentinel.
Developed a behavioural framework and released multiple e-books on behaviour under pressure, self-awareness, and consistent personal development.
My approach is not therapy, motivation, or inspiration. It's practical - it's grounded in the belief that behaviour is learnable - but only through consistency, not inspiration.
I don't teach people how to feel differently. I teach them how to act consistently with who they already want to be. That's the gap most people miss - they focus on mindset, but behaviour is where the real work happens.
When you understand what pressure reveals about you, you stop fighting yourself. You start building systems that work with your nature, not against it.
"Pressure doesn't create these patterns. It reveals them."
Whether you're looking to transform your organisation's culture or develop your personal leadership capacity, I'd love to hear from you.

"Rufaro delivered a really engaging and interesting session on personal resilience as part of a week of training in my team. Many people said it was their favourite session of the week! His passion for the subject was really obvious and infectious, and the interactive activities gave us really useful insights and tools to put into practice. Thanks Rufaro!"

"During our pre-season preparations at Bromley Rugby Club, we brought Rufaro Fielding in to work with the Under 14s squad on mindset and mental resilience. His sessions were excellent and had a real impact on the boys. Rufaro quickly built a strong rapport with the players and delivered his message in a way that was engaging, relatable and easy for them to understand. He focused on helping the boys develop the right mentality for competition, encouraging them to push through difficult moments in games and find that extra bit of effort when it really matters. What stood out most was how he helped the players think about pressure, confidence and accountability. Rather than just talking about motivation, Rufaro gave them practical tools and simple ways of thinking that they could use on the pitch when the game gets tough. The sessions really helped set the tone for the season and gave the squad a stronger belief in themselves and each other. It was great to see the boys taking those ideas into training and matches, particularly when digging deep in tight games. Rufaro was professional, energetic and clearly passionate about helping young athletes develop not just as players but as people. We would highly recommend him to any team or club looking to improve mindset, resilience and performance."
